An act to amend Section 1341.3 of the Health and Safety Code, relating to health care service plans.

AB 1571, as introduced, Chávez. Director of the Department of Managed Health Care: seal.
The Knox-Keene Health Care Service Plan Act of 1975 requires the Director of the Department of Managed Health Care to adopt a specific seal to be affixed to or imprinted on all orders and certificates issued by the director. The act further requires all courts to take judicial notice of the seal.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 1341.3 of the Health and Safety Code is amended to read:

1341.3.
 The director shall adopt a seal bearing the inscription: “Director, Department of Managed Health Care, State of California.” The seal shall be affixed to or imprinted on all orders and certificates issued by him or her and such any other instruments as he or she directs. All courts A court shall take judicial notice of this seal.
