An act to amend Section 16 of the Penal Code, relating to criminal law.

Existing law specifies that crimes and public offenses include felonies, misdemeanors, and infractions.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to that provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 16 of the Penal Code is amended to read:

16.
 Crimes and public offenses include: include all of the following:

1.Felonies;

2.Misdemeanors; and

3.Infractions.

(a) Felonies.
(b) Misdemeanors.
(c) Infractions.
