An act to amend Section 102 of the Water Code, relating to water.


LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST


AB 1481, as introduced, Nazarian. Water: public use.
Existing law declares that all water within the state is the property of the people of the state, but the right to the use of the water may be acquired by appropriation in the manner provided by law.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to that provision.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 102 of the Water Code is amended to read:

102.
 All water within the State state is the property of the people of the State, state, but the right to the use of water may be acquired by appropriation in the manner provided by law.
