February 19, 2021 |
An act to amend Section 44034 of the Health and Safety Code, relating to air resources.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
AB 1364, as introduced, Flora.
Motor vehicle inspection program: license fees: smog checks.
Existing law provides the Department of Consumer Affairs with the sole and exclusive authority within the state for developing and implementing the motor vehicle inspection program. Existing law requires the department, as part of the program, to impose annual license fees for smog check stations and biennial license fees for smog check technicians, which shall not exceed the reasonable cost of administering the qualifications and licensing program.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.
