An act to add Section 67912 to the Government Code, relating to transportation.

AB 1001, as introduced, Kiley.
Placer County Transportation Planning Agency.
Existing law requires the Director of Transportation to designate a transportation planning agency in each area of the state with various transportation planning, programming, and related responsibilities. Existing law creates the Placer County Transportation Planning Agency as the transportation planning agency for the portion of Placer County outside of the Tahoe Basin.
This bill would authorize the Placer County Transportation Planning Agency to acquire and dispose of real and personal property necessary to the full or convenient exercise of its powers, as specified.
