FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 91 as passed the House of Representatives could increase the obligations of the various county vehicle licensing officials by an undetermined amount, if the county licensing official, upon approval by the county commission, chooses to contract with a third party for the establishment of a print-on-demand kiosk system dependent upon the cost of such system.

This bill further provides that the Department of Corrections will continue to receive the same amount for license plates and decals as provided by current law.

Additionally, this bill will increase the administrative obligations of the Alabama Department of Revenue to adopt rules for the implementation and administration of the provisions of this bill.
