FISCAL NOTE
House Bill 425 as introduced would allow individuals adjudicated of driving while under the influence five years to apply for a hardship license after adjudication. This could increase driver's license fee receipts by the following amounts to the following funds dependent upon the number of individuals that apply for a hardship license, at a cost of $36.25, as follows: 1) State General Fund: $13.50; 2) Probate Judges: $1.50; 3) Highway Traffic Safety Fund: $20.75; and 4) Alabama Veterans’ Living Legacy Trust Fund: $0.50.
