FISCAL NOTE
House Bill 424 as passed the House of Representatives increases the grant award amount for the Alabama Student Grant Program, administered by the Alabama Commission on Higher Education (ACHE), from $1,200 currently to $3,000 per academic year, which would increase the obligations of the program, funded from the Education Trust Fund, by an estimated $9.9 million annually.
