FISCAL NOTE
House Bill 424 as introduced increases the grant award amount for the Alabama Student Grant Program, administered by the Alabama Commission on Higher Education (ACHE), from $1,200 currently to $3,000 per academic year, which would increase the obligations of the program, funded from the Education Trust Fund, by an estimated $9.9 million annually.
