FISCAL NOTE
House Bill 205 as introduced would exempt a new or used motor vehicle dealer from the requirement to obtain the $5 supplemental license for an off-site sales event, if the dealer is delivering a motor vehicle off-site or selling a motor vehicle to a customer at the customer's home or place of business. According to the Alabama Department of Revenue, there were 36 licenses issued in FY 2021 totaling $180.
