Summary

As introduced, extends the permitted occurrence date, from June 30, 2023, to June 30, 2025, for an injury underlying a workers' compensation case in which the court of workers' compensation claims is authorized to award reasonable attorneys' fees and costs if an employer wrongfully denies a claim or fails to timely initiate a benefit to which the employee or a dependent is entitled for the injury. - Amends TCA Section 50-6-226.
