Like most websites, eLobbyist collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. eLobbyist’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how eLobbyist’s visitors use its website. From time to time, eLobbyist may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

eLobbyist also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. eLobbyist does not use such information to identify its visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.

eLobbyist also requires a US zipcode to register, this information is used for the sole purpose of identifying the geographic location of the user to present the proper data.

eLobbyist may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. eLobbyist may collect statistic about the support/oposition of legislative documents. eLobbyist may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, eLobbyist does not disclose personally-identifying information.


eLobbyist uses cookies to help identify and track visitors, usage of the eLobbyist website, and user preferences. eLobbyist visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers may set their browsers to refuse cookies from eLobbyist’s website, with the drawback that certain features of eLobbyist's website may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
