PAULIN, LUPARDO -- read once and referred to the Committee on Higher Education -- committee discharged, bill amended, ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said committee AN ACT to amend part C of chapter 57 of the laws of 2022 amending the education law relating to modernizing nurse practitioners, in relation to making certain provisions permanent The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 8 of part C of chapter 57 of the laws of 2022, 2 amending the education law relating to modernizing nurse practitioners, 3 is amended to read as follows: 4 § 8. This act shall take effect immediately and shall be deemed to 5 have been in full force and effect on and after April 1, 2022; provided, 6 however, that sections one, two, [three, four,] six and seven of this 7 act shall expire and be deemed repealed two years after it shall have 8 become a law. 9 § 2.
