Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a person found guilty of or pleading guilty to, including any person receiving a disposition of court supervision, a violation of this Code or a similar provision of a local ordinance shall pay, at a minimum, a fine or penalty, inclusive of costs, equal to the amount of bail required by the Illinois Supreme Court Rules. Provides that this amendatory Act shall not limit the discretion of the court to impose a fine or penalty greater than the minimum. Effective January 1, 2011.
