Summary

Expands provisions relating to athletic coaches for independent sanctioning authorities to require youth sports or recreation authorities to conduct specified background screening of all volunteers with any youth athletic team or organized youth recreational program using publicly owned facilities; provides that duty may not be delegated; requires that specified documentation be maintained for specified period by such authorities; requires authorities to provide copies of such documentation to certain governmental entities; requires governmental entities to retain documentation for specified period.
