HOUSE BILL NO. 791 Offered January 13, 2016 Prefiled January 12, 2016 A BILL to amend and reenact §57-2 of the Code of Virginia, relating to the Act for Religious Freedom. ---------- Patron-- Adams ---------- Committee Referral Pending ----------

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That §57-2 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§57-2. Rights asserted therein reaffirmed.

The General Assembly doth now again does hereby declare again that the rights asserted in the said act §57-1 are of the natural and unalienable rights of mankind and this declaration shall remain the policy of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
