Summary

Condemns all violent repression of peaceful Uighur protests by the government of the People's Republic of China (PRC), and expresses sadness at the loss of both Han Chinese and Uighur life. Calls on the PRC to: (1) honor its Constitution's guarantees for freedoms of speech and association; (2) end its slander of Rebiya Kadeer; and; and (3) end its human rights abuses and repression of the Uighur people.
