R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Words cannot fully express the heartache felt by the
  family of Keren Ella Shalom Leal of Georgetown, who passed away on
  January 5, 2023, at the age of 12; and
         WHEREAS, Born in Georgetown on May 17, 2010, Ella Leal was the
  beloved daughter of Janis and Roland Leal; she grew up with the
  companionship and affection of nine older siblings, Emilie, Elise,
  Caroline, Abigail, Luke, Ava, Josiah, Caleb, and Eden, and was
  further blessed with many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and
  nephews; and
         WHEREAS, Creative and imaginative, Ella could often be found
  exploring the outdoors and letting her curiosity about the world
  guide her; in addition to devoting herself to her studies as a
  homeschool student, she had a passion for drawing, painting, and
  other artistic endeavors, and she also loved animals, especially
  horses and dogs; she shared with her family a deep commitment to her
  faith; and
         WHEREAS, Although the loss of this unique and vibrant young
  girl is difficult to bear, Ella Leal brought a light into the lives
  of her loved ones that can never be extinguished, and they will
  forever keep her memory close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Keren Ella Shalom Leal
  and extend profound condolences to the members of her family: to her
  parents, Janis and Roland Leal; to her siblings, Emilie Leal
  Plowman and her husband, Nathan, Elise Leal, Caroline Leal
  Dominguez and her husband, Joe, Abigail Leal Scallan and her
  husband, Evan, Luke Leal and his wife, Hope, Ava Leal, Josiah Leal,
  Caleb Leal, and Eden Leal; and to her many other relatives and
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Ella Leal.
