R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever cherish their
  memories of Juan C. Venecia of La Victoria, who passed away on
  November 24, 2023, at the age of 81; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Pedro and Ernestina Venecia, Juan Venecia
  was born in La Grulla on January 27, 1942; he enjoyed a rewarding
  career of 18 years with General Mills in Aurora, Illinois, and he
  went on to own several businesses in Alto Bonito, Texas; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Venecia married the love of his life, Rebecca,
  in 1965, and he took great pride in their four children, Juan,
  Rosanna, Becky Lee, and Lisa Marie; with the passage of time, his
  treasured family grew to include four grandchildren, Rosanna,
  Santiago, Jake, and Alexa; and
         WHEREAS, Juan Venecia lived a life that was rich in personal
  and professional achievements, and he will forever be a source of
  inspiration to those he leaves behind; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
  Legislature, 4th Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the memory
  of Juan C. Venecia and extend heartfelt sympathy to the members of
  his family: to his children, Juan A. Venecia and Becky Lee Venecia;
  to his grandchildren, Rosanna Solis, Santiago Solis, Jake
  Mackenzie, and Alexa Mackenzie; and to his other relatives and many
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Juan
  Venecia.
