Summary

As introduced, requires department of safety to send person whose license is subject to suspension for failing to maintain liability insurance, notice of intent that the person's driver license will be suspended in 45 days, rather than in 30 days, for failing to comply with department's payment plan for reinstatement; extends, from 30 to 45 days following the date of such notice, the time within which the person has to request a hearing to show compliance with the department's payment plan. - Amends TCA Title 55, Chapter 12; Title 55, Chapter 50 and Title 56.
