Summary

As introduced, increases from $25 to $40, the deposit amount that an agency cannot accept less than from a new owner adopting a cat or dog that has not been spayed or neutered, and to ensure that the spaying or neutering occurs, the agency permits the owner to receive a refund of the deposit upon providing confirmation of the spaying or neutering. - Amends TCA Title 44 and Title 63.
