Summary
As introduced, authorizes each municipality, county, or metropolitan government to impose a public safety surcharge for purposes of providing public safety services; specifies the manner by which the surcharge must be approved by the local government and the purposes for which the surcharge must be used. - Amends TCA Title 7, Chapter 51.
