Amend The South Carolina Code Of Laws By Adding Section 59-5-170 So As To Establish The Division Of Interscholastic Athletics Within The State Department Of Education To Serve As The Sole Governing Body Of Athletics For South Carolina Public Schools, And To Provide For The Management, Powers, Duties, And Authority Of The Division; By Amending Section 59-39-160, Relating To Requirements For Participation In Interscholastic Activities, So As To Make Conforming Changes; By Amending Section 59-40-50, Relating To Charter School Student Participation In Interscholastic Activities Through Traditional Public Schools, So As To Make Conforming Changes; By Amending Section 59-63-70, Relating To High School Student Participation In Independent Organized Sports Teams, So As To Make Conforming Changes; And By Amending Section 59-63-75, Relating To Concussion Protocol For Student Athletes, So As To Make Conforming Changes.
