Summary

Provides that individual may not, by agreement or otherwise, waive any right that individual has by reason of law, rule, ordinance or other regulation of this state, or political subdivision of this state, that provides for protecting consumer health, safety or welfare unless law, rule, ordinance or regulation specifically permits waiver. Specifies that provision of agreement that purports to waive right granted under law, rule, ordinance or regulation is void. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
