April 10, 2013, Introduced by Senators CASWELL, BOOHER, COLBECK, PROOS, NOFS, BIEDA and MARLEAU and referred to the Committee on Government Operations.

 

 

 

     A bill to designate this state a purple heart state.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 1. This state is designated a purple heart state,

 

honoring our combat wounded veterans for their service and

 

sacrifice by allowing the United States of America to maintain its

 

sovereignty.
