Summary

Prohibiting a person from breaking and entering the dwelling of another and committing a crime of violence against a victim who is the lawful occupant of the dwelling; prohibiting a person from employing or displaying a dangerous weapon while committing a home invasion crime of violence; establishing criminal penalties for violations of the Act; and requiring a sentence imposed under the Act to be imposed consecutive to and not concurrent with any other sentence imposed for any crime based on the act establishing a violation of the Act.
