2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Marilynn A. Mathison of Phillips, | ||||||
4 | Wisconsin, who passed away on May 28, 2014; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Marilynn Mathison was born on January 25, 1942 in | ||||||
6 | Chicago; her parents were John and Margaret (nee Steigerwald) | ||||||
7 | Lachmann; she married William A. Mathison, Sr. on March 3, 1993 | ||||||
8 | in Richmond; and
| ||||||
9 | WHEREAS, Marilynn Mathison graduated from Lakeview High | ||||||
10 | School in Chicago in 1960; and
| ||||||
11 | WHEREAS, Marilynn Mathison worked as a bartender for 40 | ||||||
12 | years until her retirement in 1993; and
| ||||||
13 | WHEREAS, Marilynn Mathison loved sewing and crocheting; | ||||||
14 | she was also an avid Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks fan; | ||||||
15 | and
| ||||||
16 | WHEREAS, Marilynn Mathison was preceded in death by her | ||||||
17 | husband; her parents; and a sister, Laura Foust; and
| ||||||
18 | WHEREAS, Marilynn Mathison is survived by 5 daughters, Lisa | ||||||
19 | (Marty) Harmon, Mary (Dwayne) Buchert, Cindy (Randy) Norgard, |

1 | Josie (Tyler) Weber, and Marlene (John) Butler; 2 sons, Thomas | ||||||
2 | (Erika) Harmon and William (Jan) Mathison, Jr.; 14 | ||||||

4 | (Daniel) Dorning; and 2 nieces, Danielle (Brian) Reynolds and | ||||||
5 | Sulyn (Chris) Musselman; therefore, be it

7 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her | ||||||
8 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Marilynn A. Mathison; | ||||||
