AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by
adding Section 222 as follows:
(5 ILCS 490/222 new)
Sec. 222. United States Constitution Day. September 17 of
each year is designated as United States Constitution Day, to
be observed throughout the State as a day to celebrate and
remember the founding document of the United States and the
founding principles of the United States.
