Summary

Amends the Department of Employment Security Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Employment Security shall, on a monthly basis, measure labor underutilization in Illinois in accordance with the U-6 measure (total unemployed, plus all marginally attached workers, plus total employed part time for economic reasons, as a percent of the civilian labor force plus all marginally attached workers) developed by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and shall release monthly data on the same day of the month on which it releases statewide unemployment data. Effective immediately.
