Summary

Requires statewide team of child protection investigators to respond to child's death or disappearance; requires DCF to disclose basic facts of all fatalities & near fatalities of children which result from child abuse or neglect; requires that reports & disclosures be posted on DCF's website; provides requirements for release of information if investigation of fatality is pending, if report of fatality is true, or if report of fatality is unsubstantiated; prohibits certain information relating to fatality of child from being released; requires each community-based care lead agency to submit an annual report on damage claims relating to children injured while in care or custody of agency.
