SENATE BILL NO. 204

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 14 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE INSPIRE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM.


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:


Section 1. Title 14 of the Delaware Code by making deletions as shown by strikethrough insertions as show by underline as follows (and by redesignating accordingly):

§3414A Maintaining eligibility.

(c) Students are eligible to participate in this program for a period not to exceed 6 8 continuous semesters, not including the summer semester.


SYNOPSIS

This bill would allow for a student to participate in the Inspire Scholarship Program for eight continuous semesters instead of the current six.This would allow a student to use Inspire Scholarships for each of the semesters during a traditional college program.
