AN ACT REQUIRING THE COMMISSIONER OF CONSUMER PROTECTION TO UNDERTAKE A STUDY OF OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Consumer Protection to undertake a study of all occupational licenses and recommend elimination of those licenses that are not necessary to protect the public health or safety.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide relief to individuals and small businesses by eliminating unnecessary regulatory burdens.
