WHEREAS, Andrea's Pizza, a family-owned restaurant in Hampton has been serving delicious meals and building a strong sense of community fellowship in the area for 50 years; and

WHEREAS, Andrea's Pizza was established by Frank Migliore on April 19, 1974, and has since been owned by family members, friends, former employees, or former patrons, all of whom have maintained the restaurant's commitment to great food and outstanding service; and

WHEREAS, one of the current owners, Christopher Reuter, worked at Andrea's Pizza for seven years when it was owned by Jim Thacker, from whom he learned recipes and preparation techniques for pizza, stromboli, pasta, and other dishes that have been passed down through the decades; and

WHEREAS, since Christopher Reuter and his brother Stephen Wielechowski have become the owners of Andrea's Pizza, they have maintained the establishment's reputation for excellence; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, That Andrea's Pizza hereby be commended on the occasion of its 50th anniversary; and, be it

RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to Andrea's Pizza as an expression of the House of Delegates' admiration for the restaurant's legacy of service to the residents of Hampton.
