Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That § 10.1-409 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 10.1-409. Appomattox State Scenic River.

The Appomattox River 100 feet from the base of the Lake Chesdin Dam, to the Route 36 bridge crossing in the City of Petersburg confluence with the James River at City Point in the City of Hopewell, a distance of approximately 6.2 19.2 miles, is hereby designated a component of the Virginia Scenic Rivers System.
