Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That §30-87 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:
§30-87. Staff; cooperation and assistance.
The Division of Legislative Services shall provide staff
support to JCOTS. JCOTS may appoint, employ, and remove an executive
director and such other persons as it deems necessary and determine their
duties and fix their salaries or compensation within the amounts appropriated
therefor. All agencies, authorities, and institutions of the Commonwealth
shall cooperate and provide assistance to JCOTS upon request.
