| WHEREAS, The service of an admired Edwards County elected | ||
| official drew to a close when Lee Sweeten retired as county | ||
| commissioner for Precinct 2; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Over the course of his tenure, Mr. Sweeten served | ||
| his fellow citizens with distinction, ably meeting the myriad | ||
| responsibilities of his office; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Through his dedicated leadership and commitment to | ||
| good governance, Lee Sweeten has helped make Edwards County an even | ||
| better place in which to live and work, and he has set a standard of | ||
| excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Lee Sweeten for his service as Edwards | ||
| County commissioner for Precinct 2 and extend to him sincere best | ||
| wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Sweeten as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
