R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, The fifth-grade choir of Chapel Hill Elementary
  School in Mount Pleasant is performing in the Capitol Rotunda on May
  26, 2011; and
         WHEREAS, Accompanied by choir director Michael Tosh as well
  as by 30 parents and teachers, all 57 members of the fifth-grade
  class are journeying from Northeast Texas to sing at the State
  Capitol; these talented youngsters will entertain audiences with a
  variety of songs from their repertoire, including "The Impossible
  Dream" and the Willie Nelson classic "On the Road Again"; and
         WHEREAS, The students' appearance at the State Capitol is
  part of a three-day, 625-mile field trip during which they are
  touring other popular destinations, including the Bob Bullock Texas
  State History Museum and the Treaty Oak in Austin as well as the
  Cameron Park Zoo, Mayborn Museum, and Baylor University campus in
  Waco; the visit to the seat of Texas government is sure to be a
  memorable highlight of this exciting adventure; and
         WHEREAS, For the third year in a row, the fifth-grade choir of
  Chapel Hill Elementary has proudly represented its school and
  community during a performance at the State Capitol, and it is
  indeed a pleasure to welcome these outstanding young Texans as they
  share their gift of song with visitors to the pink dome; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby honor the fifth-grade choir of Chapel Hill
  Elementary School on the occasion of its 2011 performance in the
  Capitol Rotunda and extend to the visiting students, teachers, and
  parents sincere best wishes for a memorable and enjoyable stay in
  Austin; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the choir as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
