| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 418.310(a), Government Code, is amended | ||
| to read as follows: | ||
| (a) Not later than December [ |
||
| even-numbered year, the council shall submit to the legislature a | ||
| report on the reliability and stability of the electricity supply | ||
| chain in this state. | ||
| SECTION 2. The change in law made by this Act applies only | ||
| to a report submitted on or after the effective date of this Act. | ||
| SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. | ||
