| associated with complaints filed with the Texas Commission on | ||
| Environmental Quality. | ||
| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 5.176, Water Code, is amended by adding | ||
| Subsection (c) to read as follows: | ||
| (c) The commission shall provide for the translation of the | ||
| following into Arabic, Hindi, Mandarin, Tagalog, and Urdu: | ||
| (1) any information provided through a publicly | ||
| available Internet-based system for accessing or monitoring a | ||
| complaint file maintained under Subsection (a); and | ||
| (2) the form associated with the Internet-based | ||
| complaint submission procedure established under Subsection (b). | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. | ||
