No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would establish reduced penalties for the criminal offense of parking a vehicle in a parking space or area specifically designated for individuals with disabilities in a case where the vehicle displays a certain disabled veteran license plate but not a disabled parking placard. The bill would require a court to dismiss a charge for such an offense under certain conditions.
