Amend CSSB 14 (house committee report) as follows:

(1)  On page 1, line 12, immediately following the underlined period, insert the following:

This subsection expires September 1, 2026.

(2)  On page 5, between lines 12 and 13, insert the following:

Sec. 161.707.  EXPIRATION. This subchapter expires September 1, 2026.

(3)  On page 5, line 19, immediately following the underlined period, insert the following:

This subsection expires September 1, 2026.

(4)  Strike page 5, line 20, through page 9, line 2, and insert the following:

SECTION 4.  Section 164.052, Occupations Code, is amended by adding Subsection (a-1) to read as follows:

(a-1)  In addition to the conduct described by Subsection (a), a physician or an applicant for a license to practice medicine commits a prohibited practice if that person performs a gender transitioning or gender reassignment procedure or treatment in violation of Section 161.702, Health and Safety Code. This subsection expires September 1, 2026.

(5)  On page 9, between lines 16 and 17, insert the following:

(c)  This section expires September 1, 2026.
