WHEREAS,  The members of the Gahanna Middle School East sixth-grade eCybermission team are, indeed, a remarkable group of young academicians, and at this year's National eCybermission Competition, they won first place in their division for their design of an earthquake-resistant house. Throughout long hours of preparation and competition, participants Julie Bray, Luke Clay, and Ashton Cofer have proven their extensive knowledge and talent and have earned the respect and admiration of many; and

WHEREAS,  Competitive spirit and innovative effort have played major roles in the development of our country. The drive to excel is best developed when youth are presented with trials that permit them to test their skills, knowledge, and strengths against their peers, and we encourage the members of the Gahanna Middle School East sixth-grade eCybermission team to continue to strive for excellence so that they may assume a meaningful and productive role in our complex society; therefore be it
