       AN ACT to amend the alcoholic  beverage  control  law,  in  relation  to
         providing alcoholic beverages on credit
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Subdivisions 6 and 7 of section 100 of the alcoholic bever-
    2  age control law are renumbered subdivisions 7 and 8 and a  new  subdivi-
    3  sion 6 is added to read as follows:
    4    6.  NOTWITHSTANDING  ANY  PROVISION  OF LAW, RULE OR REGULATION TO THE
    5  CONTRARY, A RETAIL  LICENSEE  FOR  OFF-PREMISES  CONSUMPTION  MAY  SELL,
    6  DELIVER  OR GIVE AWAY, OR CAUSE, PERMIT OR PROCURE TO BE SOLD, DELIVERED
    7  OR GIVEN AWAY ANY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE ON CREDIT TO A BUSINESS  OR  CORPO-
    8  RATION,  PROVIDED  THAT  THE  BUSINESS  OR  CORPORATION  IS PERMITTED TO
    9  PURCHASE FROM SUCH RETAIL LICENSEE UNDER THIS CHAPTER. SUCH CREDIT PERI-
   10  OD SHALL NOT EXCEED THIRTY DAYS.
   11    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
