       AN  ACT to amend chapter 890 of the laws of 1982, relating to the estab-
         lishment of certain water charges for hospitals and charities  in  New
         York  city, in relation to extending the effectiveness of such chapter
         for two additional years
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.  Section 2 of chapter 890 of the laws of 1982, relating to
    2  the establishment of certain water charges for hospitals  and  charities
    3  in  New  York  city,  as  amended by chapter 153 of the laws of 2012, is
    4  amended to read as follows:
    5    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall remain  in  full
    6  force and effect only until September 1, [2014] 2016.
    7    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
        EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                             [ ] is old law to be omitted.
