A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN act repealing the woman's right to know act and prohibiting the DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES FROM USING state appropriations to MAINTAIN any REQUIREMENTS OF THE WOMAN'S RIGHT TO KNOW ACT.

The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:

SECTION 1.  Article 1I of Chapter 90 of the General Statutes is repealed.

SECTION 2.  Of the funds appropriated to the Department of Health and Human Services for the 2012‑2013 fiscal year, none shall be used to maintain any of the requirements imposed on the Department under Article 1I of Chapter 90 of the General Statutes, as repealed by Section 1 of this act.

SECTION 3.  This act becomes effective July 1, 2012.
