1.2relating to human services; increasing the cash portion of the Minnesota family
1.3investment program transitional standard;amending Minnesota Statutes 2012,
1.4section 256J.24, subdivision 5.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 256J.24, subdivision 5, is amended to read:
1.7 Subd. 5. MFIP transitional standard. The MFIP transitional standard is based
1.8on the number of persons in the assistance unit eligible for both food and cash assistance
1.9unless the restrictions in subdivision 6 on the birth of a child apply.The amount of the
1.10transitional standard is published annually by the Department of Human Services. The
1.11following table represents the transitional standards including a breakdown of the cash
1.12and food portions effective October 1, 2013.
