| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to | ||||||
| 3 | congratulate the Illinois Area Agencies on Aging on the | ||||||
| 4 | occasion of its 50 years of service; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, The State of Illinois has a long and cherished | ||||||
| 6 | history of caring for its older adults while recognizing their | ||||||
| 7 | wisdom, experience, and contributions to our communities; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, For five decades, the Illinois Area Agencies on | ||||||
| 9 | Aging have been unwavering advocates of our senior citizens, | ||||||
| 10 | providing vital support, guidance, and resources to help them | ||||||
| 11 | age well and maintain their independence; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, The Illinois Area Agencies on Aging have been | ||||||
| 13 | both pillars of support for older adults and engines of | ||||||
| 14 | transformation, evolving and adapting to meet the | ||||||
| 15 | ever-changing needs of our aging population, ensuring that | ||||||
| 16 | they continue to lead lives of vitality, fulfillment, and | ||||||
| 17 | purpose; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, The Illinois Area Agencies on Aging's 50-year | ||||||
| 19 | anniversary marks a half century of dedication, innovation, | ||||||
| 20 | and service provided by its 13 area agencies across our State; | ||||||
