Bill Title: Amends the State Finance Act. Creates the Medicaid Fund Receipt Account within the General Revenue Fund. Provides that the receipt of all federal Medicaid reimbursement funds must be recorded as an entry in this account and that all such receipts must be expended solely for the purposes for which they were received and may not be expended or diverted for any other purpose.

30 ILCS 105/8.16d new

Amends the State Finance Act. Creates the Medicaid Fund Receipt Account within the General Revenue Fund. 1 AN ACT concerning finance.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The State Finance Act is amended by adding
5 Section 8.16d as follows:
6 (30 ILCS 105/8.16d new)
7 Sec. 8.16d. Medicaid Fund Receipt Account. The Medicaid
8 Fund Receipt Account is created as an account within the
9 General Revenue Fund. The receipt of all federal Medicaid
10 reimbursement funds must be recorded as an entry in this
11 account. All such receipts must be expended solely for the
12 purposes for which they were received and may not be expended
13 or diverted for any other purpose.
