Bill Title: Amends the Furniture Fire Safety Act. Repeals everything but the Act title. Requires the Office of the State Fire Marshal to adhere to the federal requirements for the flammability of upholstered furniture. Effective immediately.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Furniture Fire Safety Act is repealed.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.
