| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Phi Beta Sigma | ||||||
| 4 | Fraternity, Inc. on celebrating 105 years of service, | ||||||
| 5 | community, and brotherhood; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, Phi Beta Sigma is an international organization of | ||||||
| 7 | leaders that makes a difference in the lives of many young men | ||||||
| 8 | and society as a whole; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Phi Beta Sigma's goal is to create sustainable, | ||||||
| 10 | measurable programs that provide a long-term impact within | ||||||
| 11 | communities and provide for long-term financial solvency for | ||||||
| 12 | the organization; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Phi Beta Sigma's motto for the upcoming year is | ||||||
| 14 | "Rewrite the Narrative"; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Phi Beta Sigma has a continuous aim to create a | ||||||
| 16 | brotherhood experience that goes beyond America's | ||||||
| 17 | expectations; therefore, be it

| 18 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 19 | HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 20 | we congratulate Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. on celebrating | ||||||
